is there any way that the Moderators can ban members, even just temporarily.

kos this DA6 whatever, he is annoying as hell and instead of cleaning up the crap after him, the Mods could just ban him.

What an idiot. Too much frikkin spare time in his hands.

If we keep banning him he might be daft enough to log in with his full name and address

What we ultimately may have to look at here, is having a pre-mod phase where instead of the system authenticating membership requests, we have to manually authorise membership.

Email authentication sounds useful, where by we can recognize problematic email addy's - we'll see what we can come up with when VB3 comes out.

YEs but most people like to use the foruma as guests for whatever reason they can't be bothered to register.

the mods can see people's IPs. then they use programs like backtrace to trace the origin, and it can pinpoint your location. The only people you kan't trace are good hackers who hide behind IPs like 0.0.0.0 which is no IP. but hackers don't waste their time on stupid posts or threads.

Yep he has the self same IP as you.

Either find him (if it isn't you), or admit very quickly that it is you as I'm in the process of contacting Priestley's computing administration to find out who is using UKL.
