Young Adult?

teenager means 'TEEN' which is eight TEEN and nine TEEN.
It's eighteen and nineteen so technically yes but I think you are more of a young adult.

You will be a teenager until you cut this out. And pull your pants up. And get a haircut.

Yes. As said above - Eighteen & nineteen contain the word 'teen', which means you are by default.

Well you're an adult because you're 18.
But still a teenager.

This is something called an internet forum. Grammar or any standards of communications don't apply here.
Talking about this earlier, and we settled on 'young adult'. or teeny adult.

technically yes - as all the clever people are pointing out with the 'teen' in bold!

realistically and indeed in the eyes of the law - no, not really..

I do realise this, I just would have been horrified at the thought of being classed as a teenager still at 18/19!

The word teenager has all sorts of hideous stereotypes which I believe most people have grown out of at 18/19.

Young Adult is much more fitting. :yep:

At 18 I probably won't still feel like a teenager, but I'll probably still feel a teenager.
