BEst DAte- have never really had a great date, to this day. ...

Worst DAte- oh i got ALOT of these. But the absolute worst one has to be with this guy who I met at the pool where I swim every week, he was this really hot Polo player, who I was thinkin had a personality to match. He got wasted out of his mind and puked on me. I walked home. In the rain.

 goes to show, go for the kind cute guy next time!

As for the thread:
Please don't go to a movie unless you're bound to do something after. It's so much better just doing whatever together either at a café or at someones house

yeah you're right there, Cinema is the worse place ever for a 1st date cos there is now way you can really talk or do anything together, waste of time really. Cant say i've had any that have gone really bad but then again none that i would say went great

Worst date...ummm probably when the guy I was kind of seeing took me out with his mates to play pool for the evening at the very rundown local cinema/bowling/bar complex

Best date...My first proper date with my most recent boyfriend. It was May so nice and sunny. We went to Chester to the river and the park and talked for hours and then went for a walk by the river and it was very secluded and quiet. So lovely really....

Whenever my boyfriend and I go on dates, I get sad if he didn't enjoy the film we see/the meal we had, whatever. I feel like it's a reflection on me when I know he didn't enjoy it - even thought film and food content have nothing to do with me! :\

I so know what you mean!

Best date for me... when my bf took me to see the London Concert Orchestra's Valentines concert at the Barbican in London!

Best date: just went for a really long walk at night along the beach, it was all starry etc and we talked about absolutely everything.

Worst date: went out with a guy who talked about his ex the entire time!

It's worse when he doesn't talk at all

very good point in deed! that is far, far worse. you end up exhausted from trying trying to make him talk and paranoid because you think it reflects on you as a person.

It's pretty easy to see that the trend here is: any date where you actually end up talking to the person you're with = amazing, any date where you don't = rubbish. There ya go, summed the whole thing up in a nutshell

And yeah, I'd agree with that trend myself - I haven't been on many proper dates but the best date I've had was just a few weeks ago when I was sort of starting to see someone - we just spent the whole evening at his house watching TV and chatting and then he walked me home. Not at all flashy, just really really nice.

you seem to have got it there. and btw that date sounds amazing. why dont guys seem to get that all they need to do to get us to like them is open up?

lol! Guys seem to think it's important to impress a girl by doing something really spectacular. I, for one, would rather have a straightforward, nice, kind, caring guy than some show-off...

(...and I met the one I wanted last month, and now I can't have him :frown: :frown: )

worst date, he wanted to go find somewhere more private than his house where we could kiss without his family jeering at us, so we went for a walk, got lost, and muddy, and I whined like a loser the whole time as I wrecked my shoes. I was the one who made it bad, I could have looked on it all as a fun adventure.

best date, a guy asked me to go to a role playing game with him. It was an amazing adrenalin rush, I met people Im still freinds with now, he made me origami butterflies and put them in my hair, and was really sweet the whole time. It wasnt officially a date as I was with someone else, but I was in love with him and he had a crush on me.

dude, forget about ur ex. live ur life. GO OUT WITH UR SEXY MAAAN!

Reply 18

 tricky situation, i do not envy you. guys are useless, when you want them they're not there and when you don't want them you cant get rid of them.
