Ideas for a qualitative research project?

Hey, I'm currently trying to decide on something which I can do my second year qualitative report on. I've had a couple of ideas but when I came to search for studies and journals on the topics couldnt really find much...so cant do them :frown:
It can be on anything..ive got to go out and interview people and that has to be our data, transcripts. I don't really know anyone working in a psychological area and wouldn't be able to interview mental health patients etc but could interview workers in mental health, teachers etc. Anyone have any ideas? I'm really stuck  It also has to be grounded theory.
Why don't you try something like self conscious emotions (e.g. shame, guilt and embarrssment)? We did it for a 1st year qualatative practical report so I know there is quite a lot previous research into it.

Good Luck

In my second year for our Qualitative reports we did interviews on people's experiences when first starting University. It was easy because we could just interview uni students and ask them about their experiences, such as how they felt about dealt with the change, about making new friends how they felt moving away from home etc. Also we did it in a group of 8 so everyone only had to interview one person. From what I remember, for the analysis you can just write a load of crap but just back it up with evidence from what the person has actually said. Don't bother trying to interview patients or anything, there are big ethical issues with that and it would take wayy too long for it to be accepted by your uni...

Some other ideas...
- People's experience with food and body image
- Friendship/Relationships
- People's tastes in music???

I'm not sure if these are "grounded" theories though, whatever that means.
