Can't Find My Course On Student Finance

I'm filling in my student finance application and when I click Yes on 'Would you like UCAS to send your course details?' I get 5 options but not my offer from Imperial, and 2 offers from Bath strangely when I only applied to do 1 course  I then click 'My Course Isn't Here' and find the list of courses at Imperial and the only Computing course showing is the 3 year course (G400) and mine is the 4 year course (G401) :s-smilie:
Where is the link to use the live chat thing?
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks.

Imperial's database still isn't fully updated on the SLC. Therefore manually type in your course details and an assessor will sort it when your application is processed.

Yeah I'm just worried about getting something wrong though. You think the database will be updated any time soon?
Cheers

They took system down completely at 4pm today, leaving me to do crappy bits with my DSA students. Some of it may be updated tonight, a lot of it is dependent on the university though.

I'm having the same problem! Only I can't even find my course on the manual search.. Any help or suggestions? Cos I'm not too sure about putting down a course I'm not planning on going to. Thanks

As it's early in the cycle, many universities will not have uploaded their course details to the system yet. You can input the details manually but it's probably best to wait a few weeks until it's added as this can cause problems. You don't need to know exactly where you're going to apply - it's easy enough to change the course when you have made a firm decision.

Blame it on SFE for launching the applications early. The unis had until the end of January to upload their database but the wonderful SFE decided to go for an early launch. Wait a couple of weeks and you won't have any probs. (Hopefully)

when i filled out my application, i had to manually fill in my course details. then it said my tuition fee loan is £3600 or whatever it was last year. i'm 100% sure i applied for 2012 entry, so why does it say this? is it just a problem wth SFE??

It's because the course will have to be linked first - 2012 start courses have the 9000 (or lower) fee built into the database. Your application can't be assessed until it's linked anyway, so don't worry - when the uni adds the course details just link the course and it should be down as a 2012 start with the correct fee.

oh thanks, that stops me worrying! i looked at all the courses durham have added, and so far it's only ones that start with 'A'. I'll just wait for them to finish.

Yeah - you might as well wait for now. This is the earliest that SFE have opened their application process ever - it's normally around March, so I think the universities weren't necessarily ready on the course side of things.

Unis were told they had until the end of Jan to upload their course data and then the SFE suddenly "soft launched" in December and only gave unis 2 days notice.
