I used to have a job talking to people on the street, and a collegue of mine stared at the people. It really freaked them out...they seemed really intimitated.

I was resting in the gym the other day and I realised that I was just staring into space... only not into space but straight at this other girls arse lol her friend was giving me this really weird look and i went bright red haha

I sometimes do almost exactly what you've described, without even realising.

It doesn't mean your nuts does it? I'm now so wary of aggessive responses form my sis and her partner I pratically have to look at the ground or do anything to make sure I don't do it. Maybe I have too much presence

I don't think it means you're nuts, no. It's just a weird, idiosynratic thing. I often find myself staring through people's windows on the street, or directly at people walking past, and I'm not really aware of doing it. Noone's ever commented on it, either, so either I'm not very noticeable or they're being polite.

urgh! the other day i realised i was just looking at my friends tits throughout an entire conversation. she was quite uneasy after about 10 minutes of me leering over her.

I know a guy who has this problem and I see him quite often, he stops everything he's doing and stares right through you. It's ******* irritating and creepy.

Reply 11

In some cultures it's friendly interest. It's really hard for me to stop now without looking at the bloody ground.
I have an intense mind and eyes. I hate feeling like a creep when it's an accident. My eyes got no-where else to go, my mind can't get anymore introspective than that.

I'll be honest. I find it extremely creepy.

We have a guy who does this at judo. But I can't tell how it would be if it was in a "normal" conversation.By that I mean, the same guy mumbles, so a conversation will go "hiclrhwru" *intense staring*.

If I knew what was actually wrong with him though (know he's not "all there" at all), then maybe I would be more forgiving. Especially if he also stopped grabbing me so hard he left bruises...

In summary - yes, it's creepy. But I'd be more understanding if I knew why you were doing it and that it was actually beyond your control!

i get mistaken for staring, in actual fact i have a short attention span so i tend to go blank a lot and end up in my own world and typically some idiot is in my line of vision and thinks im gawking at them when i haven't even acknowledged their existence, ho hum, i can only suggest to try and avoid eye contact but then they think you're eyeing them up or something.

Well I will have to avoid it then. Although then I find myself almost looking away to an absurd degree. It's really weird, it's just my mind is too intense for people. It's not creeepy in my case, it's just that I genuinely am abstracted from what's going on or in front of me.

I have this problem but its that I find it difficult to look at people instead. They end up thinking I'm up myself or rude

In that case, I don't think it would be too bad.

As long as people know you don't do it intentionally, I think they will be OK with it

I've been told I stare a lot...and half the time I realise it. I'm not entirely sure what constitutes 'not staring'. Ah well, such is life.

If you have a problem I think it's better to just zone out lkooking at some arbitrary object as opposed to, say, a person. As people who stare are creepy and I know that much despite it being a bad habit myself.

I know it sounds funny but I got deep intense eyes that disturb. People love me on the phone at least lol

Lol that must have been embarrassing. What you should have done to freak them out more is wink and say how’s you doing?
Haha then cows would go quak:hifro::piggy::moo::nutcase::bban:
