Economics Vs Management Science

Would economics be a better degree to invest in for future career prospects or do you think management science is equally as good or better?

I can't decide *see choices below. Any help would be great!

Not much between them in terms of career prospects. Decide which course you'd rather study, and if you can't make up your mind on that either, choose based on the universities and towns.

A degree from Warwick (in any subject) is so rare these days that I think you should choose Warwick.

I would say econmics at durham, as its such a well rounded degree. Although warwick is an excellent university

Yes, i meant that there is an extremely high demand for a Warwick degree. In the Sunday Times Guide 2004 Warwick has the highest A-Levels entry points outside Oxbridge. :wink:

Id choose Durham, as already said both can lead to the same sorts of career areas, however its not as if Durhams alot better and id find Economics more interesting then Management.

Thanks guys that's really helped. I know what your saying John but I think I'm going to go with Warwick because personally I think I'd find Management more interesting. Warwick it is! Better get my loan application in now!

Def warwick, durham isn't known for economics and as many people have said warwick has a fantastic business school :smile:
