Hello I've been having trouble with A2 AQA Psychology, or at least finding it hard to get higher grades in practice essays. I'm tempted to use Coursework.info to see how it should really be done and to help put some essay plans together in preparation for the exams.

What I'd like to know is whether the 'unrated' essays are usually of any benefit and also I am at risk of plagiarism of any sort? I won't be copying the work word for word obviously but looking at the sort of issues raised and converting it into a plan format which I can expand on in the exam.

    Thanks

As long as you don't copy it and use it for ideas and such, it should be allright. But, if you're looking to do it for exam essays then you could potentially remember them word for word and write it in the exam.. cause they can't say you cheated when you're being moderated, right? :/

What topics are you struggling with? I'm doing A2 as well and I may be able to help you because my teachers don't mind marking essays so they could always tell me where I go wrong which would help you.

Yeah, that's what I did when I did AS Psychology last year.. did essays like evey week, and they always told me what I could have added to get more marks. It was so damn helpful.

I'm doing that at the moment but maybe not as much as I should be! Might ask my teacher to focus on telling me what else could be added. I have trouble getting into the top level of A02 due to a lack of time and often evaluative points.

    Thanks for the replies

Just give a decent kind of detailed explanation of the study/whatever it is and concentrate on AO2, cause it's 12/18 for AO2 and only 6 for AO1.. so most of your essay should be evaluative points.

The OP is doing A2 which has equal AO1 and AO2's.

The dark lords of Acumen will smite you. Don't be suprised to find your account is no longer here tomorrow morning.

To the OP, as long as you don't copy it verbatim. Have a look, get an idea of structure, use it for inspiration but don't "copy" it otherwise you will plaigarise (and take on loan). Obvious question, perhaps, but have you received any feedback from your teache?. There are a number of avenues you should go down before potentially wasting your money on a site ( I'll be demodded for this )

OP, perhaps you should rename this thread to the AQA A2 Psychology thread and post the topics you are struggling with so I can do some essays on them and get my teachers to mark them.
