back lines

Hi. I have a few lines on my back, that kinda look like scars but arent. I know that people get these because of "growth spurts". I have a friend who has it even worse than I do (so I suppose I can't complain).

Does anybody know how to get rid of them. I once heard that they stay forever. I really hope not. Maybe by rubbing cream on them everyday?

please help :frown:

thanx

Yeh, i've got thin stretch marks over my hips that are like little white lines, used to bother me but not now. i think they get better as time goes one.

I've got something similar, i've had them for about 5yrs, but they are fading

Reply 3

Yep I've got them too on my hips cos they grew really fast!

They're perfectly normal, loads of people get stretch marks as they go through puberty. They tend to be purpley at first, but can be pink or white, and are all shiny . They all tend to fade as you get older, so don't worry about it.

My ex-boyfriend had what looked like stretch marks on his back but each one was about half an inch wide and they were parallel straight-ish lines like he'd been whipped. He hadn't grown either, he just noticed them one day and they never went away.

Thats what mine are like, the first thing I knew was in the changing rooms at school people were asking who'd whipped me

Brother's got those... not surprising considering he's grown nearly a foot in 2 years...

I got stretch marks everywhere when I was a teenager, the downside of being very curvy  they fade...but I hated them when I had them. When they go all white and silvery I dont think they are unattractive though.

I had some rather disturbing purple marks at the very tops of my legs.. ahem, needless to say it kinda freaked me out as they were..strange! Went the doctor who assured me it was nothing but a case of very very deep coloured stretch marks and they would disappear in time.

They have now gone, as this was about a year ago <:smile:/

I've not had to pull my pants down to a fella ever since!
