Homosexuals are people aswell. Everyone has their own preference and I don't see anything wrong with theirs.

So in answer to your question, yes I think it's ok.

I'm fine with homosexuals, just as long as they don't move in next door. It's not that I'm homophobic or anything, it's just that I have children and I wouldn't want them getting confused.

Lol, you can see why they need sexual education to tackle homosexuality. Do you seriously think that a child exposed to homosexuals has a better chance of becoming gay? They are not like lepers, you don't have to ensure children aren't exposed to their disease as it is more infectious to children.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure some homosexuals are very nice people. I always watch that homosexual make-over program on the Telly. They're so artistic.

You're practically a fag hag then.

It was a hilarious parody of middle class suburban views on homosexuality a la american television .etc

I was going to put /hahaha or something, but decided against it. Then decided it was perhaps unclear, so went with '^_^'.

Non forum smillies are wasted on me, I don't have a mobile and I certainly never used anything apart from the  if that's what it means at a guess. Point taken though.

TSR has proven that gay or straight you can still write shocking English.

On the substantive point, erections do not only occur through sexual stimulation. The complex physiological sequence that results in an erection can be caused by a variety of factors and certainly an extremely uncomfortable situation as this would clearly be for a homophobic man can in some instances result in an erection.

Using flawed science to argue against homophobes or even to suggest they are secretly gay is not helpful.

hahaa i've just re-read my earlier post and, being an A-level English student i'm pretty shocked and dissapointed at myself lol i apologise...

however...

i don't agree with your point. An erection is an erection for a reason; its purpose is for sex and trying to form ideas between erections (whilst being shown porn) and anything other than something involving sexual attraction is completely unmerited.

I think that if anything, an extremely uncomfortable situation is more likely to have the complete opposite effect of an erection; If you're talking from experience...then i worry for you really...I think you're trying to rationalize something that is purely and simply an impulse. It works as the 'id' in freud's psychoanalytical model and you trying to make it seem anything more complex than an obvious sign of sexual arousal is baffling.

I'm not using flawed science, these tests are real with lucid and tangible results to prove that homophobes are simply supressing very real, or possible future sexual desires and they feel that homophobic behaviour simply allows them to escape the reality that they might not be 'normal'...

i can talk from experience, before i came out as bisexual i used to talk homophobically...it was always a way of personally distancing myself from the topic, when in reality it was getting closer and closer by the day!

Arguing fact is just pointless on your part. You will never be able to construct a worthy argument on this topic because of your mindset; i can allow myself to see both arguments becuase of my sexuality and also because i have and open mind and don't judge lifestyles i know nothing about...

I agree with all of that, I think he's referring to a death row hard on as it's commonly called. Where fear can arouse men. It can be particularly strong and remain a long time after someone has been hung. That said I really don't think things like that weren't accounted for. The people would have been relaxed and they wouldn't of known what was coming at all, or which order gay or straight stuff would come in. Any scientific study worth its salt would have controls and ways of eliminating error due to other.
