I know there is something called muscle memory but is there something called weight memory? Reason I ask is last year I gained 30lbs while I was on the meal plan however this year I've been off it and thus have been very lazy and have lost nearly all the weight I gained. I'm going to bulk up again and was wondering is it likely to be easier this time round? Last year was a constant battle of eating nonstop and downing cytogainer 3 times a day.
Muscle is heavily correlated to weight, so yes - going by the law of muscle memory, it should in theory be easier to gain back what pure muscle you had previously had and probably a substantial ammount of that 30lb (if most of it was infact muscle).
I like you recently had a large break due to exams etc and have regained around 5-6 lbs (if not more) of clean mass in a month (whereas before i was struggling to gain 1-2 lbs in the same time period)
