1. Hey

I'm having a little problem with his equation. I was wondering can someone please hep. I'm not very familiar with linear equations that are in a fraction form.

Solve: 3x/2 + 2 = 5x -1

Solve: 4/y + 1 = 2

All comments are very appreciated. Many thanks!
2. subtract 1 from both sides in Q2...can you see what to do from there?
3. with the first one, subtract 2 from both sides....then multiply both sides by 2 to get rid of the fraction...
4. I'm confused - sorry. I've never done these type of linear equations before.
5. ok well....would it help if I told you that if a/b = c, then a/c = b?
