i'm so confused and i did badly in january exam...
Alright, so you have KAAE (knowledge can mean identification and definition). How many marks are for each depends on what the question asks you to do.
An 'explain' question will not carry any E marks. The mark distribution will favour K and Ap, with a few for An. An 'analyse' question will not have any E marks but the distribution will favour the An side of the KAAE 'scale' An 'evaluate' question will have up to half marks reserved for E, with the rest An. Very few K and Ap.
Next, you will need to divide your points up between the marks.
For example, an 8 mark question asking you to analyse two possible ways the government can do whatever will mean that each main point you make will get you 4 marks. Then, you can say, for each main point, the marks are probably spread out like: K1 Ap1 An2 E0. This should help you structure your answer.
