I'm confused. Is it alright that I no longer find her as attractive as I once did, now that she has revealed she is a BNP voter?
It's perfectly OK.
You have different viewpoints/opinions... these can be important factors.
I'm not sure, I've never been in that situation. However, my parents are Conservative and Labour - arguing all the time!
I would never go out with somebody who held views like that, but each to their own, free speech and all. If you want to date a bigot who votes for an inept idiotic party go ahead.
Have you asked her why she votes BNP? She might not even know what's it actually about (unlikely but you never know)
Like someone else said, you might want to ask her why she votes BNP first before attaching the BNP-voter stereotype to her.
Try and convince her that she's a moron?
BNP doesn't immediately mean she is racist or bigoted, she could just be... oh, no, yes it does. My bad.
In all seriousness though, as long as she doesn't just always blame immigrants for why it rains, or blames blacks because the hot water ran out, I'm sure you'll be fine.
How can she have a great personality and yet hold views that you find deeply unattractive?
Probably not a keeper but wouldn't do any harm to get your end away.
Different viewpoints but I'd slap you if you no longer find her 'attractive' plainly just because of that. I think it was the shock that she supports BNP that you might not find her that much attractive until you come round to the fact.
"great personality" =! BNP supporter.
For me I'd find it hard enough going out with someone who votes Tory as politics is such a big part of my life. Going out with someone who voted BNP is just out of the question. They have the right to believe what they want but that doesn't mean you can't feel disgusted and appalled by her views.
For a thread that's largely denouncing the BNP, there's quite a large degree of bigotry here.
