There is no real general degree that can guarentue a really ultra high payed job, but like u said most things in fiannce, erm... accountancy at a high level can be really good. alot of company's poach people who do really well on there degrees for high flyer exect jobs, i imagine something in ecomics is good start.

Maybe you should visit some of the investment banks and financial institutions websites for example Goldman Sachs and Jp Morgan. They provide a range of descriptions on IB, IM, Equties etc. and the opportunitites they offer.

thanx i think i'll do that....but isnt there a quick way to the top to people like head of economics or company vice presdients?....or do u have to be a 60 year old man to become them?

I think that the satisfaction you will get in the end when you get that perfect job because of your abilities is better than if you were appointed to it simply because you had connections. Although conncetions to help you with small steps towards it are perfectly acceptable! :wink:

No.

You'll likely work very long hours under consistent pressure for a reasonable salary.

Unless you are a visionary or financial guru there is no "quick way" to reach the top. This applies to any profession. Experience is acquired over many many years, not downloaded as an implant in your brain or gained on a three year degree course. Besides which, even if you are an absolute genius you won't be taken that seriously by anyone until you're in your late 30's. That's just the way of the world I'm afraid.

ok....but can u tell me what the best paid job in the business, economics world?.....ive been told a stock broker, they can earn millions, if they are the best stock brokers and have clients like corporations etc.....

If you are the best at anything (well not quite anything :P), youll get paid s*** loads anyways.

be precise.....i want stuff in business, and economics, and tell me about stock broking - is it worth wakin up 5 in the mornin, being at the office at 6-7am, and working till late?

Try law (soliciter)- 33k trainee contract if u get a 2.1 or higher from a top 10 law uni, 3 year training then goes up to 50k+ by the age of 24. Then bout 7k increase per year for 5/6 years. Then if you go into partnership you can get from 500k-1mil a year.
