A33 An Amendment for a fairer ordering of parties, Alasdair

This house directs the Speaker to insert the following into the constitution in the relevant passage:

    - That party manifestos in the General Election Post be ordered by random draw. random.org should be used for this purpose.

I've heard of less fair things in my time, but I really don't think it makes squat-all difference.

However the speaker/ person the speaker got to make the poll for him did it. It's been done by alphabetical order, order in which the manifestos were received and at random before.

Oh, cool. Then I support this, we may as well have a set procedure.

    Seems good to me.
Even though the concept of randomness is not truly random etc etc etc.
    Yep, I agree

I'll laugh so much of this splits alphabetically. But I think the Tories and Labour know we'd kick up one hell of a fuss.

If this doesn't pass, I propose a name change to the Absolutely Ass-Kicking Socialists.

(Disclaimer: I'm kidding of course. Don't get your knickers in a twist)

No, we're gonna do something like that. I've decided. :p: Like, a random (a) at the start of our name.

You'll just start an aaarms race and find yourself facing the Aardvark party and the AAAMRLP.

I don't think it's a good idea. When you're looking down the parties to find the one you want, you'll automatically look in alphabetical order. It just makes sense. Why isn't it alphabetical now? To prevent people starting their party name with an a so they get noticed first? I don't think that'll happen tbh.
