Medicine or any other subject interviews?

I just wanted to know how you would answer these questions in an interview as accurately and as interesting as possible:

1. What can you offer our university? Why should we choose you?
(2. Why not become a nurse or lollipop-man instead of a doctor?)

number 1 is entirley up2 u. what have u got to offer?? its time to sell urself, u shud be chosen u have good teamwork skills, communications skills blah blah - needed for a doc..not just grades, but social skills which u also posess.

for 2 i wud say that a although being a nurse does allow contact with patients which is why i am chosing to want to medicine, but being a doc wud also allow u to play a part in the actual diagnosing of patients. being a doc wud give u a bigger responsibility and u will be given the chance to learn the principals of illnesses and drugs to a further extent than nurses.
