    My answer was 625/81 but the test is saying the answer is C.....wtf?!

    625/81 = (7*81 + 58)/81 = 7 58/81, so your answer's the same but in a different form

    4. Solve: 0.25 + 0.65

    A. 1/2
    B. 9/10
    C. 4/7
    D. 2/9
    E. 5/16

    The space isn't a multiplication. It's a plus, e.g. \frac{3}{2}=1\frac{1}{2} as is customary for fractions so they're not morons.

    Amusingly enough juxtaposition often does mean multiplication.

    What are your thoughts so far for the second question?

    0.25 + 0.65 = 0.9 = 9/10

    Ah ok, well then my advice would be to talk to your maths teacher and go over commonly used notation eg xy is x multiplied by y
    That or make sure you've read and understood the question before you attempt to answer it.
