Reply 10

I love a bit of banter with the lads!! :yeah:

Reply 11

It's probably come out of this 'Skins generation' of kids who lack any sort of organic social life.

Thankfully nobody I know ever uses it. But we have 'craic' instead I suppose.

Reply 12

"Calm down mate. Its just banter.

We're only having a good crack like."

My friend speaks exactly like this! Although, I must admit being fond of the term banter.

Reply 13

I HATE it! It gets on my nerves.

Reply 14

I hate it when people say "I mean..." at the start of sentences

Reply 15

I don't really like it.

Reply 16

I said "banter" before it was cool. :frown: I guess I shall now have to indulge in raillery instead.

Reply 17

It's evident the OP has no banter, hence is annoyed. -_-

Reply 18

haha this is so true... the cause of the recent influx of these fake indie kids.

Reply 19

Yeah it's a bit annoying. Over the past year or so it seems to have been used far too much by 17+ year olds. Just something I've noticed.
