Hi im currently doing 4 cores sub ( Phy chem Maths Fmaths ) , which i believe
is the hardest combination among all. I want to pursue chemical engineering and worst part was i flop my chemistry during AS (got B) , and i find it too time consuming if i keep taking Fmaths up.. After all the subject has served it purpose as tuition for my first year maths..
oh get back to topic, how many subjects do people take for exam?

Three A2s usually, though some do four... You only need three A levels and perhaps a fourth AS level for uni, but doing four subjects will probably not benefit you that much, and isn't worth the extra burden.

:ditto:

OP 3 Alevels is the norm. Four might make your offer harder (eg AAAA instead of AAA)

4 or 5 AS-levels.
3 or 4 of these taken to full A-level standard.
