Im thinking of doing the Extended Project next year

I'd like to know some good topics i can do for it which relate to Mathematics and Economics together

Something that does not involve using the syllabus for economics obviously

i had some ideas, but none of them can combine both maths and economics

    thanks

im currently in the middle of mine. Mine is rather just maths related, focusing on Quantum Cryptography =] but i have 2 friends both doing economics related ones. One is doing the current state of China and Japans economy, and what the future holds for them, as Japan is becoming like the biggest technological power in the world. And the other is doing his on the UK's economy and how Gordon Brown bettered or worsened it. Hope that gives some ideas!
