Student finance dilema? Bank account related.

Hey guys, i was just wondering you gave to give details of a bank account for the loans company/government to give you the money. But i was wondering if they check your bank account or your income as i have alot of money in my current account enough to cover university. Or could i get away with it creating a new bank account? Thanks.

Put the details of your current account in for now and then apply for a student account later in the year when they start competing with each other and give incentives. When you have got a student account then just edit the account details on your application.
They don't check in your bank account - the bank wouldn't give out your balance to the Government without extremely good reason. Besides, who's to say that you have money in your account now which you've already committed to be spent?

hmmmmm true, but do they look at my earnings for the year as im working this year (Gap year) !?!? Or just my parents.
I'm not sure - I don't think so but I'm not certain either way.

This is only for grants anyway; anyone is entitled to a loan (AFAIAA).
