Hay-worth.
Whore Worth is how I'd pronounce that. I came to that conclusion before I read the post.
Surely however you say it is the right way, within reason? How do your parents say it?
I'd pronounce it Hay-worth, although I've never come across anybody with that surname so I'm not positive that's correct.

They say it 'ha-worth' but if it was 'whore-worth' i would not blame them.
its hay-worth
Having lived on Haworth road and very near Haworth all my life, I and everyone i know says it like how-erth (yorkshire accent btw)
I read it as whore-worth but I'd be inclined to pronounce it har-worth to avoid offending anybody!
