This is a thread to request a sub forum for the University of Westminster - if you would like this request put forward, please say so below and we can pass this on, apparently the rules are:

Can you create a forum for my uni/subject/hobby?

Empty forums do more harm than good to TSR, so we need to see evidence that it will be used. We usually ask for the names of ten active members (i.e. members that have over 100 posts and who are currently posting regularly on the site) who would post in such a new forum before considering it.

Thanks everyone

you may want to post this in the Ask A Mod section - you'e more likely to get a response.

Yes - I was going to forward the names and this thread on if enough people replied first - we need at least ten people and plus it is most likely to be seen here by people looking for information on Westminster.

Guys please sign the petition. We're really suffering at Westminster!

When we moved to 10 week semesters we were promised more time to revise, but the university has moved our exams from May/June to April/May, so we have less time to revise than last year and more importantly less time to revise than most other British universities, which is going to give their students the edge when it comes to getting the grades for the right job.

So the purpose of this petition is to say NO to the current exam timetable and persuade the university that exams belong in May/June, or at least show them that we think so!

Hey - thanks to everyone who has posted so far asking for the sub forum; if you could spread the word and maybe message others who are students or who are asking for more information on Westminster that would be great.

Once we get around 10 to 12 people who post around 100 posts or so - we can pass this on to the moderators to look at. In the meantime, some latest news on Westminster in general, research and others things related to Westminster. It seems they are starting to do a lot of bioscience research looking at the latest news headlines published on the university:

Hey Cherry - as in a limit - they would like each poster to have around 100 posts and will contribute fairly regularly to the Westminster forum – so get posting

So far we are really only half-way - hopefully more of the regular posters who are also Westminster students will see this and add their names.

Thanks to everyone who has added so far - spread the word.

It is in London, yes, but this alone doesn't mean it should have its own subforum. The main London unis forum is used instead. It really comes down to demand, as I've just explained in a similar thread (for University College Suffolk)

When we review the forums next (which may be a while as they were only just reviewd in Feb/March) and there's a decent demand for a Westminster forum (say it's one of the most active universities that doesn't already have a subforum) then we'll consider adding it.

In the meantime the London unis foum can be used, just make seperate threads in there. There is a thread that's a petition of sorts, to encourage admin to create a Westminster forum. I'll merge this thread into it.
