You might get a little more success if you provide a 'sampler' which show what your site is about
before you require people to commit personal details to registering. I have been stung by too many
spam factories to risk another without some level of information as to potential value!

Hi Keith

The main site is a resource site and the community is an extension of that to allow users to discuss
resources, and other research. NO SPAM - NO ADVERTS - NO POP-UP'S

www.e-weave.co.uk

Take Care

Forgive the suspicion but in that case what's in it for you?

Research basically, I'm looking at how the onine learning community can innovate beyond the usual
spiel that seems to be re-spun by everyone. I have enough money to live on and am not motivated by
material things. Why do people design websites that have no commercial value? I believe that this is
what the Net is all about..or *was*

All I can say is, the site is genuine...I can understand your suspicions though. Thank you for
your comments.

Douglas, your site may be genuine but a registration screen as the front page is off-putting. As
others have suggested, it might be a good idea to provide a 'taster' to your services or something
like that? Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the comments. I have taken your suggestions and made the board visible to guests, but you
have to log in to reply or start topics, hope this helps. The community has only been up a few short
weeks, but there are already over 60 users.

I appreciate your comments

Thanks again!

Doug
