Also look for the obvious - if it's a clip of driving down a country road, keep an eye on the tops of the hedgerows for the top of that lorry that's just about to come around the corner. Or if its a clip of a sunny road, with shadows on the left hand side, look for the cyclist of horse rider. Dual carriageway clips are likely to be someone not indicating before pulling out, clips in pedestrian areas obviously people walking out in front of the traffic - vans - look underneath them...can you see feet? (I actually naturally drive like this now - almost saved me from running someone over the other day who stepped out from behind a transit van - what a ****.)
Think logically about it, expect the unexpected AND the obvious - those pedestrians at the crossing clearly aren't going to wait for the lights to change! - my brother taught me to do hazard perception - he got 75/75 when he sat it for his PCV license - first person ever to do so apparently. I got 74/75.
