This should really be in the accomodation thread. That's why it was started - so there wouldn't be a seperate thread by every person asking where to choose.

Anyway, try looking on the Warwick website to see the let for each accomodation

Claycroft is way better than Lakeside, we just have nice ducks here in our lake, while lakeside have geese that make a lot of noise. Besides Claycroft is right by central campus, about 5 min from the library/humanities/physics concourse and 4 min from Tesco.

I chose Claycroft 1st, Lakeside 2nd for the reason of being close to the maths/stats building and Sherman told me that its close to tesco for food shopping. :P Ya, having ducks would be nice, geeses are aggressive!!!

Okey- is there any other accommodation you would recommend (I would prefer 39 weeks let cause im from Sweden but from what I hear you get to put your stuff somewhere on campus...?
Is there somewhere special where most first years live or is it just spread around?

Rootes (plus Benefactors?) , Jack Martin, Arthur Vick and I think Whitefields/Cryfield are all first yr only residences.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong

I had Tocil 1st, Calycroft 2nd and Lakeside 3rd, as I really wanted 39 weeks let.
