Hey,
I'm really torn between the IB and A-levels, and just wanted to know the Pros & Cons of choosing the IB. I've heard it's really hard (I just looked at a Spanish Standard paper and I was like 'woah' ) but Universities love it...so I want to know your opinions on the IB

Having a daughter who just passed the IB and went to uni in the UK, I can give you my view on it. I believe that if you are looking to study in the UK and not particularly interested (for personal and future job prospects reasons) in studying languages, more than 3 subjects and within a multicultural environment, then you are better off going for the A-Level. It's far easier and you have higher chance to get your first choice at university. I could see that universities had absolutely no interest or intention to consider the difference in the difficulty of the diploma and quality/content/breadth of education of the IB vs the A-level. They didn't care at all.
