Maybe it got infected or something?

Just throwing it out there, because I don't really know.

Classic line but, go to your GP if it's concerning you.

Maybe severe sunburn just takes that long to heal? I had a friend who claimed her suntan lasted for 2 years.

Dermatologist. I've been sun burned loads of times, and it does not take eight months to heal!

This was after spending 2 weeks in Greece though  she was somewhat notorious for telling porkies.

Spent three weeks in America last summer and i still have a faint t-shirt tan, at least where my arms are concerned. Doesnt take alot of sun to do some serious damage.

Yeah I still have a faint t-shirt tan from when I got horrifically sunburned a year ago, it's only very very faint after a winter in jumpers though. Me being an idiot and living in Yorkshire I thought I'd only bother putting suncream on my forearms, oh how wrong I was.

Pre-that, I had an equally awful sunburn on both arms that eventually turned brown and faded but still lingered a couple of years. I think if you don't top it up/even it out it just stays that way, just fainter.

yeh i had really bad sunburn in america had it for 2 years until the skin all healed nicely and its all new skin, Sometimes it does take years to heal. in which case i was so lucky tbh i didnt get anything horrible. The sunburn i had was pretty intense but yeh they take a few years to fully heal. Just make sure to aid healing you pack yourself full of vitamins and minerals to aid healing as your cells are effectivly damaged, so to make sure you undamage them you eat healthy. If you want to make sure i take this herbal tea extra from holland and barrat, its supposed to reverse any dna damage, that might otherwsie lead to other things, i would take it in your case. O and one more tip dont sun bathe in that area again the new layer of skin is usually slightly weaker than the first layer.

I currently have a sunburn that has been on my upper thigh for 5 months now and counting. I’m scheduled to see my dermatologist in a few days as I have just recovered from Stage 1A Melanoma skin cancer. Yes, I used sunscreen and reapplied after 2 hours like the bottle says. It’s the

I’m glad I found this because I was very confused on why my sunburn hasn’t been healing for two months now. My left arm is completely burned and since I have a Carmel skin tone my hand looks black. Both of my arms are burned but my left arm is worse and currently I’m using African black soap plus an after burn cream I got off amazon and it has helped a lot though it’s still quite itchy.

Try and wear thin long sleeve shirts in the sun lots of aloe. Allow your skin to heal. The radiation is the issue. I learned long ago that what is being sprayed in the sky the chemicals mixed with the rays from the sun causes lots of health problems more then what's being said. I am sure you have notice that people with allergies have stronger symptoms as well as seeing the symptoms last longer periods of time.. People who symptoms would occur once in awhile, very rare now find themselves having more episodes, alot more frequently. People with autism other sickness have increased . This is being caused by the government ruling that area. Take the time to research if you not don't so . Search for ways to help yourself heal as well as away to prevent it from affecting you.
