Calculations VS Kinetics Chemistry

Hey,I would if there is any one can help me to improve my calculation skills in Kinetics. Specially I want so much challenge my professor who thought that I'm a frailer and scour full mark.

I know indeed that I'm not, but as they said (Actions had higher voice than words)....so,, I'm trying to build myself away from world eyes. I wish if any one is ready to running help me before I accept as true that what's I am .

Many Thanks

The best advice I can give is just practice a lot of questions to do with calculations in kinetics.

Can someone help me solve this problem pls. urgent. pls help.

When 1.0 moles of steam and 1.0 moles of carbon monoxide were allowed to reach equilibrium, 33.3 % of the equilibrium volume is hydrogen. Calculate Kc at this temperature (you will need to think very carefully about equilibrium quantities).

H2O(g) + CO(g)  H2(g) + CO2(g)

Many thanks..

H2O(g) + CO(g)  H2(g) + CO2(g)

This is as much about stoichiometry as it is about equaiibrium

Initially
moles H2O = 1
moles CO = 1

let moles reacting = x

moles at quilibrium
moles H2O = 1-x
moles CO = 1-x
moles H2 = x
Moles CO2 = x

total moles = (1-x) + (1-x) + x + x = 2
if hydrogen occupies 33% = 2/3 moles hence CO2 is also 2/3 moles and CO and H2O have 1/3 moles

Now put the values into the equilibrium law

Thanks a lot Charco. you saved my life.
what a beast

thank you man
