Asda job application form- HELP NEEDED

Yay, TSR is back. :smile:

I’m filling out this job application form for Asda and I’m stuck on what to write about the activities I do out of school/work time and relate them to working at the checkouts at Asda. Could someone give me a few ideas, or even better write it out for me, :biggrin:

Think about activities you might take part in and list any NON-WORK activities you are involved in, which you feel show important things about you and which would be useful for Asda. If you’re still at university list extra-curricular activities.

dont ask me, although i work at asda, its only on the fish bar so the only reason i got that job was because no one wanted it probaly :smile:

In that case I don't think you need to worry about what your application says. I don't think they'll really be expecting you're activities to tie into the job you're wanting.
Just say stuff that makes you sound determined and/or active. Like a team sport or just say you go swimming a lot.

Ok, you may have already finnished it, but i'll give my suggestion anyway....you could say something like you oftern go around to your grans house to help around the house and this experience could benifit asda because it show you are used to dealing with a variety of people and can relate to elderly people who oftern need help at the checkouts.

" During my spare time I currently participate in <sport name> as I recognise the importance of my health and keeping fit. I have an active interest in < a hobby>, which allows myself to continue learning various skills throughout my own time <explain why you like it>. Other interests include, <hobby>, <hobby> and <whatever> particuarly due to...<and explain a bit about it>. My other accomplishments and interests have also involved myself being <name a team you have or are in or certificate gained from whatever>. "

Im not going to type it all out, since I have no idea who you are or anything about you - but I have had 4 jobs so far and have never failed an application form or interview as of yet. Fill in the gaps btw or you'll look like a plonker. lol. Hope this helps. Chow.
