You might wonder, "Andy why are you peaved at AQA, you have finished your A-Levels?"

Well, just browsing through the AQA website for the boundary marks on the Maths/Further papers, and whilest looking through there, I discover text books, now available ONLINE for Pure 4, Pure 5, and Pure 6.

These text books were written in August! We did not have the benefits of any texts when we were learning the material over the last two years, and in any case, the entire AQA Maths specification has been restructured for teaching starting September 2004 - so to include 2/3rds Pure 1/3rd Applied (this is across all boards btw, not just AQA), point being, WHAT IS THE POINT OF WRITING THE BOOKS NOW !.

Personally I'm just peaved as they've only thought about writing them now, when they would have been far more useful in say... September 2000, when the old "new" specificiation was launched in the first place, and even better, in and around September 2001 when I started the Further Maths course, at a time when, out of all the units we had allocated for Further, only Discrete 1 had been published.
