You can't.
I did this last week. 
Head and shoulders shampoo is really good for stripping hair of dark dye, and it doesn't make it brittle.
Wash your hair with this for a few days which will lighten it, then if you decide you want to dye it again choose a lighter colour because they always go darker than they seem.

I had so much hair dye in my hair that I had to have it stripped at the hair dressers (dark cherry red/dark purple since I was 15, and I have natural ginger *strawberry blonde* hair)- included a lot of chemicals, bleaching it, then glossing it so that it didnt go platinum blonde or something. If you're willing to splurge out on doing it to get rid of the 'black hair' altogether then there is that option, or like it has been suggested, head and shoulders is quite good at stripping the hair colour out, plus it is always darker that you think at the beginning but as you wash it, the hair does get lighter. Best of luck

It'll fade
This has happened to me so many times when dyeing my hair a dark brown.
Just use head and shoulders over a few days - strips the colour, of johnsons baby shampoo.
Not only will it strip the colour, but your hair will look shiney and gorgeous!

You can fade it slightly, but you'll have to grow it out.

Fairy washing up liquid can help fade it. Just wash your hair in it a few times. It can lighten it.
When you put the dye on did you have "old" dye on your hair already?
The picture on the box (and the name of the shade) is really just a guide and the outcome depends on your hair type and the colour of your hair - as well as whether or not you have another dye on there already. If you do, and put another one on it will automatically go darker even if the dye is meant to be pretty light as you get a build up of colour on there - and colour does not lighten colour, it only makes it darker.
Do you know if what you used was a permanent or a semi permanent dye?
If you want to do it again, or if you're thinking about putting another colour on there to actually end up brown (and if you would, always wait 48 hours at least in between each dye) do a strand test like instructed in and on the box. That way you will get an indication of how long to leave it on for (if you leave it on for too long it will go darker - unless you use a Perfect 10 from Nice n Easy as that will only have to be used for 10 minutes) as well as the outcome colourwise.
If you can't get the colour to fade, and it was a permanent dye, your only option, if you don't want to wait for it to grow out, is to go to the salon and have your hair stripped and repigmented before you can do anything else with it.

Oh they're great when you meet them. Very down to earth and polite. Dougie gets scared easily though but people really respect that most of the time and all he needs to do is just whimper a bit and people give him space to breathe and grab Harry or Tom.
I am yeah, but I'm hardly ever on the comm as I mod the official boards instead.
