What do you want them to say? I'm sorry this happened to you, but this person on the phone is... on the phone so cannot help you!

What would you like them to do? I am inclined to think you are lying. Many people use these services and have found them really helpful so please don't put people off from using them if they are in desperate need of help.

soz, they are your problems. you gotta solve them on your own. they will help you, except that, how are they supposed to help you getting your head flushed down the toilet? thats up to you.

Why would they implicate themselves by telling you what to do, when there is no way they can know you're giving them the full story? And different people have different opinions about what to do, there'd be no way to ensure consistency of the 'right' advice which doesn't even exist anyway. The whole point of the samaritans is to give people space to talk about their feelings with someone anonymous who is there to listen, and through talking about it yourself figure out your own solutions, not an advice service.

Good Advice: Stop being so dissatisfied with life. It it what it is and make the best of it!

i cant accept that. i got bullied, it was out of my control.
and as a control freak i dont know what to do, please help me i'm so depressed about this

I don't know what to say about being bullied but ive been ignored for the past two years and used by people who claim to be my friends. You're problems cant be fixed by a person on a phone! You need to sort them out yourself because no one else can help you.
Samaritans cant actually give you advice btw.
Reply 13
Well samaritans aren't trained counsellors, and their job is to literally listen. They aren't meant to give any feed back or make any judgements. That's their job!

You dont really have any other option! It will happen but dont expect to be happy and secure overnight!
Good luck with it!

Obvious neck-clicker is obvious.

OP; you've been given advice, and that is to do something about your life rather than expecting a magic fix. So, listen to the advice and make the changes.

I have no idea what your problem is so how can I suggest an advice service?! There are tonnes of support groups out there for different problems (alcholism, victims of rape or abuse, weight loss programs) so why don't you try being active and helping yourself?
