Sikh girls perhaps.

Personally, no. Religious relationships would probably cause all kinds of hassles for me, so it's best avoiding them.

I wear a turban and am clean shaven, but I find that some girls are totally put off the fact that I cover my hair and don't cut it.

Girls would you date a guy with a turban?

whats the point of keeping your hair, i mean you are already clean shaven, so you don't really take notice of the fact that we are not supposed to keep hair.

Reply 4

just a random question, how long is your hair?

What if it's a turban worn as a fashion statement as opposed to a religious symbol? And how would you know? Some people wear Phoenician crosses (used by Christians as a religious symbol) as a fashion statement so naturally I'm sure people do the same for turbans. I think it's only in Sikhism were men were turbans as a religious symbol. Many Muslims, Christians and Hindus just wear turbans since it's part of their fashion culture/genre.

Ummm...sorry but no, turbans wouldn't really turn me on :s-smilie:

Depends what he was hiding under there... If he had a coconut or a naked woman (curled into a ball). Yes. Otherwise, no.

You are beautiful, i want to hold your hand and walk in the park with you, i want to watch you chew gum and play with your hair, i want us to bicker over small things, you remind me of the summer, i want us to giggle in shops and lifts and by rivers and on the tube..... oh but wait.....a racist.

religionist, surely?

i suppose your Indian? and your question is directed towards non-indian girls?

If so, wouldn't it be hypocritical you dating a white girl whilst wearing a turban as your religion forbids this? Thus, wouldn't it be a better reason not to wear a turban?

you are right !

im guessing your not really a practioneer of the religion hence the hair on head but not on face lol

i've seen white girls with turban'd men tho if that gives you a glimmer of hope

I don't think it would really bother me, especially not the little black ones.

Really, I think the issue would come from the fact that I myself am not religious. It's not my issue, but a lot of people with strong faiths are generally averse to dating atheists.

If so, you failed miserably.

It's her choice? Personally I wouldn't want to get into a relationship with a girl that is religious as I don't believe any of it and wouldn't want to deal with things like no sex before marriage and parental disputes, does that make me racist too?

It's not that, religion can be a major part of someone's life. For me to know so little about something which could be greatly important to someone would be disheartening for both of us. I wouldn't want them to tell me all about it, or prove to me why it's the religion for them. I don't think anyone should have to prove their beliefs. I think some religious people may not understand my beliefs either.

Also, I didn't think Sikhs were allowed to date non-Sikhs.

Aren't there quite a few religions in India? In order of popularity: Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Buddhism, Jainism etc, etc. so I don't know which religion forbids the dating of 'white girls'. Also what religion is the 'white girl'? I think it's only Sikhism where the turban is a religious symbol though as a non-religious non-Punjabi, non-Indian person I may not be the expert authority on that.

It's not racist to be against religion: it's simply atheist!
