Prevalent, but not exclusive  Tony Blair is not one from the home countries, but he speaks RP...

Of course, everybody who speaks in an 'organic' way can.. Though Tony Blair CAN speak RP, and does on most occassions... It is only when he goes to Sedgefield what, once a year, that he changes, or when he goes to an east London school...
Nothing permanent.
I suppose Tony Blair speaks estuary really...

I'm so glad I smeared myself in *thinks* ...sausage fat...earlier?

Okay, we all have an accent we most hate, what is yours?
Before I can vote, I need to know the accents of Russel Crowe. Alec Guiness, Michael Caine, Richard Burton and David Niven
I really can't take the Cornish and Bristol accents....seems like your overstressing and singing the words..not to be offensive...

You missed out West country, and Norfolk/suffolk...my personal hated accent is Norfolk, followed by west country......I think i would replace sunderland with teeside(darlington, m'boro type accent), sunderland is too like geordie....

Oh yeah, adn North Wales is totally different to south wales...theres too many accents!

But the Westcountry accent is so lovely!
