I think I have it on the calculator, but I was wondering if there was an easy formula to do it with

i=imaginary number

(-2+5i)6th power(3+4i)/2-7i

Yes there is a method, use binomial expansion on (....)^6 and replace the i^power with relevant -1, 1, i gives you (15939-18460i)
Then multiply out remaining bracket on top
(15939-18460i)(3+4i) = 121657+8376i

Use difference of two squares to remove i from denominator (multiply numerator and denominator by (2+7i) giving: new multiply on top
Numerator: (121657 + 8376i)*(2+7i) = (184682+868351i)
Denominator: (2-7i)*(2+7i) = 53 so
(184682+868351i)/53=3484.566+16383.9811i

Hope that makes sense!

That makes me the sad and slow, crippled one who enjoys such challenges as Complex numbers after a pint or two.
