What is my address?

if you are a student living away from home what do you put as your address on forms, your home address where your family lives or the adress of the place you are renting. For example, im filling out a form to get my passport renewed and i dont know what to put as my address cos i am not living at home but at the same time, this address is not my permenant address as i am only renting here for the year. i had the same problem the other day when i was applying for a bank account i just didnt know what to put and i worry cos what if they check up?

i've always put my home address because i'm lvivng at student accommmodation and it won't be permanent, i'm also back for the holidays at home. For Passport stuff it seems wiser to put your home address :smile:

This. I find that companies don't pay a lot of attention when you give them a non permanent address and so they still send stuff there even when you've moved.

For your passport and stuff,i would put your home address.I normally put my home address for most important things. Except banks, because im old fashioned and still like a paper statement, but you have to be careful to change it when you move.
