Anybody know what happenned to this group? I haven't been for a while and now, although lsted there
are no postings. It used to be quite a vibrant debating forum.

I'm pretty sure, from what I gather, that none of the current IT teachers knows how to use USENET.

Thanks to the e-mail answers that helped me though

No explanation for it ... just had to remove the newsgroup, search and resubscribe incase it happens
to anybody else.

Well, obviously. Most current IT teachers are themselves the result of the last 15 years of UK IT
education which is based on the idea that IT==Secretarial Skills and occasionally drawing a picture
using the mouse. Where would they have even heard of USENET?
