should I, or should I not ???

Theres this boy who ive known since infants school - he was also in my junior school and weve known each other for years. but at the end of year 6 when we all left to go to secondary school, i moved house. Im now in year 11, and we havnt seen each other for 5 years, but recently i went onto the freinds reunited website and got his email address and we now talk all the time on msn. yesterday, he asked me out, but i dont know what to say, because i havnt seen him for 5 years, and i havnt a clue where he lives, but i know its about an hours drive away. I dont know what to say, do you think i should go out with him? but he might have changed, and i dont know what he's like anymore. He wants to meet up sometime but i dont know if i should. He used to be a really nice person, but he could have changed. Any opinions please?

Tell him that you want to meet up but you don't want to go out with him yet. If you like him when you meet up then do your best to stick your tongue down his throat. If not then don't.

Nooo, don't go out with him unless YOU felt attraction so strongly that YOU wanted to ask him out too. Which you didn't. So meet up with him, have a date, no kisses til the end of the evening and then make your decision :P

I agree with lessthanthree. I would meet up and get to know him first then you can see if he has changed.

yea its quite cute. but really, just suggest u 2 go for eg lunch or something to get to know each other again. 5 years is a long time, and you might not even be attracted to each other in that way. start as frinds then see what develops

Thanks, when I next speak to him, i will arrange to meet up somewhere - he suggested seeing a movie , so i will probably do that.

I'd meet up, but not go out with... yet. See what happens.

yeah, like everyone has said, a friendly date is nice, comitting to a relationship at this stage would be scary

but a movie is very date-like....and you wouldn't be able to talk to him (or see him!) properly! but have a good time whatever you end up doing!
