Yeah, they come into it to, as well as attractions to certain body parts, or items in general, or anything else. It doesn't have to be sexual as such, but it is most of the time.

Just because I know the names of them doesn't mean I know anything about them! I know the names of football teams, doesn't mean I give a damn who plays for them :wink:

I think it's terrible when people with fetishes try and get off in that way - it's completely non-consensual and disgusting.

I suppose the one most people mean is the one in bold. Like some people have a fetish for feet and so focus their sexual desire on their partner's footsies. Strange. So enjoying the smell of a new book isn't really a fetish unless you really love the idea of shagging in a bookshop so you can grab new books to sniff whilst you're at it. It's odd but smells definitely seem to be more liable to be thought of as fetishes than, say, liking how something looks. I wonder why. It's quite an interesting topic actually. Maybe I have a fetish for fetishes! :eek:

(It's also just a cool word!)
