i was just wondering how many people know that wales are playing the first leg of the most important football match for as long as i can remeber this afternoon.
because if england were even playing a friendly, the british media would go on about it for 3 weeks previously. but i havnt heard anything about it here in exeter.

It's understandable as to why the media focus resources and time on England. At the end of the day, news programmes and papers have to sell papers or attract viewers. England in terms of numbers is bigger than Wales, Scotland, Ireland etc hence they are the target audience.
I'm not saying it's right, but it's life...
