I thought it did, but it means to continue running an office. French can be confusing.

You can't really use courir in that sense in french. "Courir" means to run in the sense of "to run 100 metres". "Diriger" is probably the word you are looking for. So "he continues to run an office" would be "il continue de diriger un bureau.."
