Cambridge or Oxford for theology?

Anyone who's doing/done either - any feedback on what you liked and didn't or any kind of comparison between them...
Also if anyone knows a bit about KCL, Bristol or Nottingham for theology, that would help too. Or any suggestions for other good places for theology welcome as well.
I'm interested in Christianity mainly and biblical/biblical languages especially, if that helps.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

You can't do straight Theology at Oxford, but only Theology and Philosophy.

Incorrect, you can do straight theology at Oxford. http://www.theology.ox.ac.uk/prospective_students/prospective_students.htm.

@OP: Personally as my sig suggests I'd select Cambridge. The primary difference lies in the course structure, look at what Oxford's course provides, it is quite traditional and offers a more limited range of topic areas in your first two years. That might be absolutely fine if those area really interest you, but the Cambridge course is undoubtedly more widespread and varied. Feel free to PM me if you want any information on the application procedure etc.

Bristol do Theology & Religious Studies. In your first year you study 5 different religion areas (christianity, judiasm, buddhism and two others - cant remember- one might have been chinese religions).
So it's quite varied.

I didn't want to focus so much on just Christianity so ended up choosing RS at Edinburgh which has more options (although you can still choose a heavy emphasis on Christanity- 1/3 general RS, 1/3 christian theology & 1/3 religious language if you wanted). I thought the Cambridge course course looked interesting though, although I applied to uni in January...so obviously I didn't apply there lol.

Thank you that's very informative! I am currently deciding between the two and whilst at first I thought I would apply for Oxford, I'm increasingly of the opinion that the Cambridge course is better... Are you applying this year?
