Im a little confussed...

The other night my boyfriend stayed the night at my house We were laying on the couch watching T.V. and he told me that he was sorry that he couldn't take me to the prom(which was that night-he got kicked out of school and had to go to alternative school) I told him that it was ok. Well a few minutes later he told me that he was in love with me, not that he loved me but that he was in love with me.....I said what do you mean, he said that there was something about me and that he has never felt this way about anyone else. At first it was kinda of scary beacuse I wasn't expecting it at all and then I got thinking how do you know that you are in love with someone? This isn't like any of the other relationships that I have been in before, I mean this kid means the world to me and my friends can tell that we do care about each other. I could be having the worst day in my life, and then when I talk to him or see him it's like nothing else in the world matters.
Got any clues for me?

Actually we haven't had sex and he hasn't tried anything at all- he's told people when they asked him if we have had sex he said no I respect her to much.

i duno, i thought me n my bf were- went out for over 2 years and he was my first love and thought we always would be but then it all went wrong... :frown:

is there an antithesis of love somewhere? I don't just mean hate, we all 'hate' someone, but what would by the complete opposite i.e. this:

Cos its everywhere you go, on the telly, in books, mags, people you meet, those around you, especially in music, love is the most topic that has been sang about. Its just a word love isnt it, and alot of people say it everyday dont they without mean ing it, but theres different types of love.
The one Im reffering too, is the one which is sang about a million times, ok ok yes in westlife songs also. Of course its real, and if you care about someones well being, and you pray for them to be alrite, and it hurts inside your heart when you see them hurt, its love isnt it? Cos thats how I feel with the man I love and my family.

Ol, so here's the deal. We are getting into a discussion about the metaphysics of secondary qualities and their so-called "locations". This issue is that as soon as you model a secondary as some kind of an interaction between an object modelled to exist as a thing-in-itself and an intentional consciousness then we must at once see that emotion becomes ephemeral. The concept of "meaning" in music or mussic as some kind of sign is a rather contentious issue at best.
