With me, I'd like someone I'm comfortablt with and can see a future with. not kids and marriage and what not. Just someone who I know I'll be with for a long time. Shame I broke up with that person and now lost them =(

I'd like a future to be honest. I know a lot of people my age like to have a bit of fun, but to be honest I want more. I like having a serious relationship with my other half, and I find it to be a lot more than just some fun. I can see a future, and that is what I want - a long happy future. Call me a dreamer, but that's what I'd like

Entirely depends on the girl and the boy...

Totally depends on the girl. And yoou wont find out untill you have 'that' talk..

Currently I wouldn't think of marriage/family/whatever with anyone as I feel I'm too young to think about that. Apart from that, it depends on the situation. If I meet a guy in a club, I either want a one night thing or a bit of casual fun. If I get to know someone and like them, and go on proper dates with them, then I'm looking for something longer. Basically if you want to know what a girl wants to happen just ask her!

some want to just have company, sex and fun.
others want a meaningful relationship. some of my friends age around 23-25 are now engaged to their bfs who they were with all through uni (3/4 years or so). so depends on the girl

Same here - after Uni though! Not so I can have fun but it's costing me a bomb, may aswell enjoy it and have 3 years of 'me' time.

As long as the guy treats me like I'm the only girl he gives a crap about, then he's halfway there )
Entirely depends on the girl. I got engaged at 17, moved in with my other half just before I was 19, and got married and had a child at 21.

For other people this is far too young to be thinking of anything of the sort.

I like something serious. I want kids and maybe to get married, and like to feel safe in the relationship. If it's definitely not going to last, I probably won't enjoy it as I like to get attached and share my life with someone else.

that's a good point, I hadn't noticed that. This is what happens when newbies bump stupidly old threads.

Fun. Someone to want me. She'd be my first so not looking for anything really serious but if it happened then I wouldn't mind.

It really depends. When I was 18 and could legally go clubbing etc I was happy being single and going out a lot with my friends so any relationships would have been casual, but now I'm 21 I'm bored of that scene and have been with my boyfriend for over a year, we live together and I would like to think that we will go on to get married in a few years.

Edit: Haha, didn't notice this was 4 years old!
