i just cant compete with blondes :(

my boyfriend likes blondes, hes attracted to blondes, all his fav models and actresses are blonde.

but im brunette. he loves me for me and that's great and all but.. i want him to be attracted to me the way he is for blondes :frown:

i feel like no matter how pretty i make myself look, no matter how well i dress or how nice my hair looks,... i cant compete with a blonde. im not that ultimate perfect blue eyed blonde in his magazines.

i hate this notion that blondes are superior. when a man talks about a hot girl he met, it's always "and she was a hot blonde".

even in clubs.. an average to plain looking blonde seems to always get more attention than a gorgeous brunette.

i know its shallow and that what matters most is how you are as a person but it hurts sometimes that i can never be his ideal, he can never look at me and see me as the dream girl because the dream girl is probably a blonde. :frown:

You shouldnt have to feel like this, you are you, and shouldnt have to compete and compare yourself with other people. You have said that you boyfriend loves you for who you are, so he does like you for you. Most likely they are lusting/attracted to things they cant necessarily have, so the hot blonde girls. Obviously you are taking this as he dosent find you attractive, but if he is going out with you he does. I can assure you that a dream girl and a perfect girl in reality are far different. Dream girl most often being someone that dosent exsist or cant be had.

For the record, brunettes over a blonde anyday :wink:

Stop trying to compare yourself to other people, you're you, if he didn't find you attractive I doubt he'd be with you. Nobody is perfect either so get the idea of achieving perfection out of your head, we all have our vices.

Probably because she may come off as easy... seriously though don't think too much about it, he's with you for a reason isn't he? don't change yourself for him as it may do more harm than good.

You can change that. Before I went out with my ex (brunette) I used to like girls with blonde hair, after two years with her my taste has completely changed and I much prefer dark hair on girls. I just looks so much more sexy now.
