oh the embarassment

Went to the family planning clinic today to get my next of load of the pill. neways the embarrasing bit was when i turned off the high street and glanced to my left when i saw my driving instructor walking down. i carried on walking and went into the clinic but just before i went in i glanced behind me and he was still there (he went into teh cafe opposite)! he was me going in there :redface:

and when i saw him i just burst out laughing. now he probs thinks that i sleep around and i'm was laughing at him so am rude!

Yeah I wouldn't worry about, for all he knows you could have been going in to pick up a friend, so it may have had absolutely NOTHING to do with you! I don't think he would necessarily presume that you are sleeping around just because you went into a family planning clinic, and if he does, well, just try to laugh it off! (OK, not the best advice I've ever given, but then, meh, I'm tired! Sorry people!)

Why would someone judge you for going into a family planning clinic??!! That's a silly thing to worry about....it's like saying someone's judging you for being concerned about your sexual health or using contraception..........

I passed over seven months ago and since then we've bumped into each other every week. i live round the corner from him (so when i go jogging we see it each other), my school is in the next town where the test centre so i see him there and i've also seen him in other random places. a week to two after i passed he still used to text (he never did this with ne of my friends he taught) and knows exactly what my car is :eek:

It would be much worse if you didn't go. I can imagine that it was embarassing but saving face doesn't mean much compared to STI's or possible pregnancy :smile:

I know I am a guy (last time I checked anyway), but why do people get embarrased about getting contraception? Are you the only person on the planet that has sex? LOL. If someone ever turns around and says "hahaha - you are buying the pill/ condoms", etc then just simply say back "haha - least im getting some :wink:

Comments like that (which are rare btw) often come from those spotty type of kids that think they are gods gift and do nothing but chat crap. E.g: "Yer man, I pulled dis well fit bird last nioght and her mate" - but what really happened is they went out and saw a fit bird and her mate and done nothing about it. tehe :biggrin:

Anyway - now I have gone totally off topic - sorry!

Don't worry about it - its being sensible. Its not like you've done something illegal and got caught in the act. Id rather be safe than sorry for the sake of 2 mins at a counter. :rolleyes:

That raises an interesting point -- humans seem to be naturally embarassed about certain things; although this often varies from culture to culture. Maybe this is just social conditioning.

What's that supposed to mean? You should avoid regularly going into a family planning clinic in order to renew your prescripton for contraception or to get free condoms, without which you'd get pregnant or catch an STI???
