Nike not accepting my postcode as in the UK :(

im trying to buy some shoes from nike's website but when i get to the checkout it tells me my postcode is 'invalid for state and country' (UK)
i am from the channel islands and so technically not on mainland UK but on most other sites i do not get this problem.
How can i get around this? could i try putting a friends postcode down with my adress? or will that screw up the delivery?

The address postcode mismatch will probably screw up delivery. Is there a website helpline you can call tomorrow?

good idea, ill see what they say.
If they wont deliver to the channel islands ill just get it sent to a mates house or my sister at uni and they can send it on.
