hey

does anyone know the quickest tube journey from euston station to fenchchurch street, i dont knw london tht well and will be travelling in the morning, having tried searching on google it gives alot of different options so would appreciate if anyone frm london has an idea. Fenchurch street is apparently near bank station.

many thanks

Exit Euston Station, follow signs to Euston Square Underground.

Take the Clockwise Circle Line to Tower Hill Station.

Leave the station, walk around the corner about 3 minutes, next to the Grange City Hotel is the Tower Entrance to London Fenchurch Street Station.

Out of Euston you need to turn right (stay on the same side of the road) and walk along Euston Road for about 50 metres to get to the Euston Square subway. Otherwise, correct ^

Fenchurch Street doesn't have a tube station dedicated to it (it's actually unique in London for that very fact).

However, Tower Hill tube station is the nearest, and is shown on the Tube map as being 'for' Fenchurch Street Station.

So you're going from Euston Square tube, catching the Circle, round to Tower Hill.

Fenchurch Street Station has two entrances, the "Tower" entrance (nearest to Tower Hill Tube) and the "Fenchurch Place" entrance, near to the actual street "Fenchurch Street"

I assume that once you get to Fenchurch Street you're catching a c2c train out to somewhere East?

Ah AIG. KK. In which case then you might actually be better getting off at Aldgate, so you can get the Circle OR the Metropolitan Line from Euston Square.

From Aldgate Station turn right, cross the road and stay left at the fork in the road, following road signs to Fenchurch Street Station.

The AIG building will be on the left, after the East India Arms pub, and next to HSBC.

Should take you about 8 minutes walk, but it is at least a straight road rather than the winding streets around Fenchurch Street Station.

Use Google Street View to walk the route from Aldgate Station.

Help please. I don't know London at all. Am travelling from manchester to tilbury. Am ok with changing trains but am a bit worried about getting from euston to fenchurch street. Will not have a lot of time as meeting ship at tilbury so can't miss connections. If I find the tube that I need can I use cash or do I need an oyster card? Can anyone give me an idiot proof way to get to where I need to go? Thanks in advance.

4.70 cash and cheaper/faster to use oyster.

1. Go out of Euston station to the main road and turn right.
2. Follow the road until you get to a staircase and go down it.
3. Take the district/circle line to tower hill (NOT THE Hammersmith and city line which goes from the same platform)
4. Get off at tower hill, turn right and follow the road until you get to a bridge.
5. Its on the right, there is ticket barriers.
